Modest and playful Lolita fashion from handmade artist.

Lolita fashion is a fashion subculture that got it's start in Japan.  It is based on Victorian era style of clothing,  please do not compare it to steampunk.  Very modest with knee length skirts and dresses with petti coats for fullness, blouses and stockings or knee socks.  Headdresses can also be wore.  In the Lolita fashion culture there are many different styles of Lolita, the main ones are Gothic Lolita, sweet Lolita, classic Lolita and punk Lolita.  You may ask yourself who wears these thing?  Lolita fashion has spread all over the world in the youth culture from Japan to the US.  So today we are going to take a look at what is offered by Artfire handmade artists in the Lolita fashion world.

  StrawberiandRibbon a Artfire member since 2011.  This is a sweet Lolita yukata top and skirt.  Make out of a green gingham cotton with lace trim, the belt is adorned with pink ribbon.  This is a beautiful piece that is easily going to stand out.  The belt is extra long so you can tie it in a large bow.  StrawberiandRibbon is a talent artist making hair bows, apparel, and  bags make sure to stop by her Artfire shop and look around.
